The Collaboration for Environmental Evidence in collaboration with the Mistra EviEM and the Swedish Museum of Natural History invites to the first annual international conference of Collaboration for Environmental Evidence (CEE). The conference will be held in Stockholm at the Swedish Museum of Natural History between Thursday, August 25 and Saturday, August 27, 2016. Welcome!
CEE is an open community of scientists and managers working towards a sustainable global environment and the conservation of biodiversity. CEE seeks to synthesise evidence on issues of greatest concern to environmental policy and practice.
Better evidence, Better decisions, Better environment
The theme of this first annual conference of the Collaboration for Environmental Evidence (CEE) is Better evidence, Better decisions, Better environment. The goal of the conference is to facilitate learning and sharing among the community of scientists and managers working with evidence based environmental analysis for a sustainable global environment and the conservation of biodiversity. The three day conference will consist of training workshops and sessions to share experiences and knowledge on for instance the CEE systematic review methods as well as on using systematic review software (see links to the right).
Invited speakers
The trainings will be followed by keynote speakers and numerous invited presentations from across the world. Keynote speakers include Andrew Pullin, Professor in Evidence-based Conservation at the Bangor University,Hans Bruyninckx, Executive Director of the European Environment Agency (EEA), Sandy Oliver, professor in public policy from the EPPI centre and Anna Jöborn from the Swedish Agency for Marine and Water Management.
The conference is held between 25-27 August 2016 at the Swedish Museum of Natural History in Stockholm and it is organized by the Collaboration for Environmental Evidence (CEE) in collaboration with EviEM and the Swedish Museum of Natural History.
